Modified double-end colostomy: easy to perform and take care of and can be closed without laparotomy: preliminary report

Abstract

The author hereby presents a method for open colostomy instead of convention double-end colostomy that can be performed and taken care of easily and can be closed without laparotomy. The author also reports 9 cases of open colostomy in this method technique and study on colostomy complications and length of stay (LOS), closure colostomy complications and length of stay (LOS) and time from open till-closure colostomy.
