Factors affecting the role performance of pharmacists in primary care units (PCU): a case study
Abstract
Objective: The purpose of this study was to investigate the factors affecting the role performance of pharmacists in primary care units (PCU) in six provinces in the upper part of southern Thailand.
Material and Methods: Data were collected by the a questionaire completed by pharmacists in primary care units (PCU) in the selected provinces.
Results and Conclusion: The results showed that the 2 main factors affecting pharmaceutical service were work satisfaction and number of pharmacists per PCU. The one factor affecting drug information service was PCU pharmacist numbers. No factors were found to be associated with medical product management
