Music therapy

Abstract

Music affects the physical, psychological, and spiritual status of persons. The mechanisms of music effect on persons are complicated. It is believed that musical wave exhibits resonance with the fundamental frequency of human, influences vibrations of atoms throughout the whole body, and together with hearing and nervous system and chemical process of the body influences the health of persons and can effect psychological healing. For music therapy, an appropriate selection of types of music, the right volume and other influencing factors is required for the desired consequences of music in promoting well-being of persons.
