Cancer-associated Thromboembolism

Abstract

Cancer-associated thromboembolism is a common complication seen in cancer patients and associated with morbidity and mortality. Identifying patients at risk for thromboembolism and utilizing available anticoagulations for primary or secondary prophylaxis is crucial to reduce morbidity, improve quality of life and survival.
