Cutaneous Hyperpigmentation in General Practice

Abstract

Cutaneous hyperpigmentation is a common skin condition which usually has no symptoms. Generally, it can affect the patient cosmetically and psychologically. However, this condition may be the first signs of a serious disease such as endocrine disorder, nutritional deficiency, and autoimmune disease. This article aims to propose how to approach cutaneous hyperpigmentation, that for helpful to diagnose the patient with this condition.
