Scleritis: Clinical Manifestation, Systemic Disease Association and Treatment.

Wantanee Sittivarakul

Abstract

Scleritis is an uncommon but potentially blinding disease. It could be either an isolated ocular condition or part of an associated systemic autoimmune disease, and has several clinical manifestations. An accurate diagnosis, appropriate laboratory investigation, and timely treatment are important keys to improve the prognosis of patients with this disease.
